Seamus M. McDonough

Seamus joined Daniels O’Connell shortly after his graduation from law school in May of 2021. Seamus will be sitting for the New York Bar Examination in July of 2021.

Throughout law school, Seamus developed practical experience through a number of school-year internships and summer associateships. During his first two years in law school, Seamus conducted extensive legal research and writing while working for law firms. Seamus also gained experience in transactional and financing matters while interning with a NASDAQ Management Investment Company. In the fall semester of his third year of law school, Seamus worked under the Senior Legal Counsel at the North American headquarters of a Global Fortune 500 appliances manufacturer. Seamus spent his final semester working full-time at Belowich & Walsh LLP in White Plains, New York, where he assisted with document review and legal research and writing concerning complex litigation matters. While at Belowich & Walsh LLP, Seamus worked under Of-Counsel Tracey L. Daniels and gained experience in real estate transactional matters and cooperative and condominium law.

Seamus received his B.A. in English from Pennsylvania State University and his JD from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, where he served as the Promotions Editor of the Pace International Law Review.

Seamus is a member of the Real Property section of the Westchester County Bar Association.

Seamus prefers to spend his time away from the office outdoors. He is an avid runner and enjoys all forms of exercise. Outside of Seamus’ active lifestyle, he enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends.

Within two weeks of his birth, Seamus played the role of baby Jesus in the area’s local high school Christmas play.
